BIG CHANGES ARE COMING FOR OUR U.S. CUSTOMERS

Due to the new Trump-era import tariffs, we’re currently re-evaluating our ability to continue selling in the U.S. at current prices.

Starting May 2nd, all shipments of goods originating from China — including our signature shorts, swimwear, and deluxe mesh boxers — will be hit with major new import taxes totaling up to 68.5%.

That means orders placed after April 20th may be subject to significant price increases or a temporary pause in U.S. sales. Until we know how to move forward, we will only be importing what has already been purchased — nothing more.

What’s Changing?

If we bulk import our products (for example, a product that costs $10 to produce), we now have to pay:

  • 14.5% base apparel duty

  • +54% China-specific Trump tariff
    = 68.5% total import tax

That’s $6.85 in taxes on a $10 product, before we even factor in packaging, freight, or warehousing.

And if we were to ship items directly to customers via post from our Shenzen warehouse which we just opened?
We (or you)'d be charged $25 per item minimum — even on something that costs $10 to make.

Why Not Make It in the U.S.?

We’ve looked into it. Seriously. But:

  • U.S. factories can’t match the quality, speed, or flexibility of our production in China

  • Production costs would be 3 to 5 times higher, making our prices unaffordable

  • The infrastructure just isn’t there yet for the scale we need

Saying that, we are currently speaking to U.S. factories to see if they can help us navigate this challenge.

For now, we’re prioritizing our EU and Asian markets, where we can continue to create premium products without massive pricing changes.

APRIL 20TH IS THE FINAL ORDER DEADLINE FOR CURRENT PRICES IN THE U.S.

If you’re in the U.S. and you love what we make — this is your moment.

  • All orders placed before April 20th will be shipped from our Alabama warehouse, with no added fees

  • Shipping of our Pride Collection now starts May 15th (delayed due to new tariffs in the USA)

  • Orders after April 20th may include a $25 per item surcharge, or be delayed indefinitely while we restructure

We haven’t made our final decision yet — but one thing is certain:
Things will not be the same after April 20th.

👉 This is not a sale.
👉 It’s not a marketing gimmick.
👉 It’s the real cost of doing business under new trade laws.

Order now — or risk missing out.
